The Storm

• “Después de la tormenta viene la calma” This is a Spanish proverb that translated means after the storm comes the calm. Usually is used in difficult moments that you don’t see solution in a specific moment but also the things can change with time. The Storm is based in the process of the emotions and the connection to them. The origin of this series was to express those inner feelings that started for a problem I had, but also as an answer/question how to represent them. Instead to use photography as a way to emphasis the reality and his “literality”, this is more a metaphor of how we conceive real elements with abstract thoughts, making a parallel with them. Those moments in that the photography itself becomes an exploration, passing the relationship between object and his explicit context, to association of a mental moment. •
